have recently joined a local chapter of the biggest business networking
organisation in the world, BNI. It’s made up of local business
people and service providers who trust one another and recommend
each other to clients. Full references are taken before new members
are approved and of course the level of service they provide to
clients their fellow members recommend is also monitored closely.

a ‘shop window’ for local businesses, services and entertainments. If

in the area in time for your property viewings. You’ll

is a lovely Twickenham gift and card shop mostly selling beautiful
products made locally – there is a vibrant creative community
centred around Eel Pie Island. Langtons
is a very helpful independent bookshop in the centre of Twickenham’s
old main street, Church Street. This
is a local Vintage-inspired homeware and gift online boutique. French
antique furniture to Shabby Chic Furnishings and 10% off for new
customers. The
main two local museums’ web sites contain lots of information
about the borough’s history up to recent times The
African Pulse is a Twickenham-based charity run by friends and associates
of mine, for which I have organised and hosted events. It provides
support and education in South Africa. Originally from Edinburgh, I have lived and worked in London for twenty years including in Twickenham for ten years so if you are thinking of moving to this area and would simply like to talk to someone about what it’s like to live here please contact me and I’ll be glad to help.
